What is Cellulaze?
Despite what most people think, cellulite is caused by factors outside human control.
Cellulite is not caused by poor diet and exercise alone, but by aging, hormones, genetics and dramatic weight change. Cellulaze is a treatment that attacks the structural problems beneath the skin that cause cellulite.
Cellulaze is a minimally invasive laser-assisted procedure that when performed by a professional such as Dr. Abramson, is clinically proven to increase your skin’s natural thickness for a smoother, healthier look that lasts, after just one treatment.
About the Cellulaze Procedure
Cellulite is caused by aging, hormones, genetics and dramatic weight changes, all factors that cause connective tissue bands under the skin to stiffen and the fat cells they surround to become larger and push up into the skin, creating the “cottage cheese” effect.
During your procedure, Dr. Abramson will mark the areas of cellulite that need to be treated with a marker, and he will make a few, tiny incisions and the Cellulaze laser fiber will be threaded through a very small cannula needle. The laser light will level out bumps of fat, treat dimples by releasing fibrous bands that pull down on the skin, and stimulate collagen production to increase your skin’s depth and elasticity for a smooth, healthier look.
Local anesthesia or numbing cream will be used to make sure patients are comfortable during their procedure. The liquefied fat is gently pressed out, and the entire procedure should only take about 1-1.5 hours.
Cost of Cellulaze
Since most medical insurance plans will not usually cover cosmetic procedures, for your financing needs, Alphaeon™ and CareCredit® are offered. Patients may be pre-approved for financing with a low interest monthly payment plan. For more information, contact our office.
